MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING

Comprehensive Care for Mental Health and Co-Occurring Disorders

At CommonHealth Recovery, we recognize that mental health is a critical component of overall well-being. As a recovery center primarily focused on Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, we understand that many of our clients also face significant mental health challenges. Our goal is to ensure that these issues are not overlooked, providing holistic care that addresses both substance use and mental health.

Counseling Services for Mental Health:

  • Individual Counseling
Our one-on-one sessions provide a private, safe space to address a variety of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. These sessions allow us to work closely with clients, offering personalized care that aligns with their unique needs.

  • Group Counseling
Group therapy offers clients the opportunity to share experiences and build a support network among peers who are facing similar challenges. It’s a space for mutual encouragement and growth, guided by qualified mental health professionals who facilitate each session with care.

  • Co-Occurring Disorder Counseling
Many of our clients experience both mental health and substance use disorders. Our integrated treatment approach focuses on addressing both conditions simultaneously, helping clients understand the relationship between their mental health and substance use and develop strategies for long-term wellness.

We're Here to Help

Our team of qualified mental health professionals is dedicated to providing comprehensive support, ensuring that no aspect of our clients’ well-being is neglected. We provide counseling for conditions including:

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Depression
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Other Mood and Thought Disorders

When necessary, we facilitate referrals to psychiatry, ensuring clients have access to medication management and specialized care.

Evidence-Based Approaches  for Better Outcomes

At CommonHealth Recovery, we believe in using evidence-based tools to monitor progress and adapt our treatment plans. We use standardized measures like the PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire-9) to assess symptoms of depression and monitor improvements over time. This allows us to make data-driven decisions, ensuring that we can intervene when needed to provide the best possible care.
